Description:

1. All document numbers in one list

Open Settings, then Users and Companies, then Re-Sequences. Invoice, bill, quotation, purchase and journal numbers sit together, each with its own pattern.

2. Set the company prefix once

Choose Reset Company Prefix. Set the company letters, yearly or monthly, the year format and how many digits the number uses. The example updates before you save.

3. The pattern is applied

After Set, Pattern Example shows the new number on every row. Invoice, bill, quotation, purchase, delivery and journal all follow the same company prefix.

4. Lock the sequence

Tick Locked so the prefix and numbering stay fixed. The form warns you until the row is unlocked.

Confirm a customer invoice and the posted number follows that pattern, for example INV/ABC/2026/00001.
